Alex Kamal spent 20 years in the MCR Navy, then piloted the Canterbury before meeting the love of his life: the Rocinante, a “legitimately salvaged” Martian gunboat. He is the heart of her crew, constantly acting from a desire to help people and bring them together.

Instructions:

Cardamom-Honey Syrup: Bring 1 cup water, ¾ cup sugar, ¼ cup honey and ¼ cup green cardamom pods, cracked, to a boil. Simmer uncovered for 15 minutes, strain and let cool. Cocktail: Pour all ingredients into an ice-filled rocks glass and stir briefly to mix. No garnish.
